To begin, the SE7i is similar to the SE9i in that they both have 18-inch strides and 18-pound flywheels. Both have adjustable inclines, but the SE7i only rises to 8 degrees. And each machine has pulse sensors in their handlebars so you can track your heart rate. But the SE7i does not come with a wireless chest strap.
To continue with the contrast, the SE 7i has a smaller 5-inch display, but it is iFit-compatible. And it has twenty-four built-in workout apps, but only 22 levels of resistance.
